
American swimmer Michael Phelps is the newest phenomenon of swimming pool. He is the owner of seven world records in swimming. He holds the record for more gold medals at single Olympics with the eight golds which he won in Beijing Olympics. By winning 14 gold medals in Olympics, he holds the record for more gold medals in Olympics. Phelps won total of 48 career medals including 40 gold, six silvers and two bronze from the Olympics, the World Championships, and the Pan Pacific Championships. Also he got World swimmer of the year award in 4 times and American swimmer of the year award in 6 times. Phelps started swimming at the age of 7 under the influence of his swimming sisters and set record at the age of 10. He was qualified for Summer Olympics at the age of 15. In this age of 23, he won many medals and hold many records. His physique is one of the major factor in swimming. His height is 6′4 and his wing span is very large compared to other swimmers. His feet size is 14 and can easily swim and reach a good distance when compared to others. It is no doubt that he is an outstanding swimmer of all time.
