Malayalam actor Mammootty to start a Blog.

The megastar Mammootty is very different from the other artists because the mega star of the Indian cinema through his social and cultural activities starting a new blog in Malayalam. Every Malayalees and his fans are very happy regarding his blog. Mammoooty is one of the busiest actor in India. It’s really a miracle that he finds time to spend for his latest blog. BIOGRAPHY

The Malayalam movie megastar MAMMOOTTY is a legend person of the Indian film industry. He is one of the best and awards winning an actor in the Indian film industry. He was born on September 7, 1953. His father name is Ismail an agriculturist and mother Fatima a house wife. He had two younger brothers and three sisters. His original name is Pannaparambil Muhammad Kutty and screen name is “Mammooty”. He did the college education from Maharaja’s College, Cochin and then studied the law at Ernakulam Government Law College. Mammootty’s first acting career started in 1971and the name of that movie is Anubhavangal Paalichakal. When he was a student at the Maharaja’s College, he practiced as a criminal lawyer in Manjiri for 2 years. He got married in 1980 to Sulfaath. He has a daughter, Surmi and a son, Dulquar Salman. A lawyer by qualification, Mammootty has always wanted to be an actor. His deepest passion was to fill in the silver screen. His professional cinema career had started in the movie Devalokam in 1979. After 1982, he acted in more than 150 films as the hero, then he became a notable performer in the Malayalam cinema. “Oru CBI Diary kurippe” went on to create box-office history in Kerala. Mammootty became almost a regular face in Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s films. He starred in Adoors famous three critic movies like “Anantharam”, “Mathilukkal” and “Vidheyan”. He has acted in more than 300 films. Most of them was in Malayalam movies.Mamootty had received 3 National awards, 4 state awards and 8 filmfare awards for his best performance in his entire career. Most of his awards that he received  for “Best Actor Award”. He is the only actor that had achieved more National awards. Government of India also honored Mammootty with Padma Shri Award in 1988 for his outstanding contributions to Indian Cinema. I think in 2001-2005 period is the best time for his cinema career because during this period he has many hits in Box-office. In between he had crossed the boundaries of Malayalam cinema and acted in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi,English movies. His other notable performance is in the movie featuring Dr. Ambedkar. Jabbar Patel directed the English language movie Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar about the life of Ambedkar. In my opinion, he is the old actor of Malayalam and he is handsome too. His other popularize is the current Chairman of Malayalam Communications and appointed as the Global Brand ambassador of the Kerala based South Indian Bank.
