“Saagar Alias Jacky” tells the story of a soft hearted big underworld don Sagar alias Jacky (Mohanlal) lives in Dubai. He returns to Kerala, because his childhood friend Manu (Manoj.K.Jayan) is kidnapped by the notorious gangsters Rozario brothers. Manu’s wife Indu (Shobhana) requests Sagar to bring back her husband who is held in Goa by Rozario brothers. Sagar saved Manu which leads more trouble to him. At last Sagar faced all people who was trapped him. We can see some romance and songs in this film when television news reporter Aarathy Menon (Bhavana) tries to investigate and expose Sagar. Mohanlal proves that he is really a superstar in the film the industry through the character of this movie. Shobhana also makes a comeback to Malayalam with a short role in the movie. Mohanlal’s son Pranav is also appearing in this movie. Really, this film is an action thriller placed and presented in today’s style and speed.
