Kim Kardashian holds many positions including American celebrity, socialite, model, actress, apparel retailer and television personality. She is famous for her social life, sex tape scandal, and her role in the reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” telecasted on E! American cable television. Now she is selected as the 5th sexiest women in the Hollywood by a poll conducted by men’s magazine “Details”.

BIOGRAPHY

A socialite-actress Kim Kardashian was born in Los Angeles,U.S as the daughter of American attorney Robert Kardashian and Scottish and Dutch Kris Jenner. She has two sisters Kourtney and Khloe and one brother Robert. In childhood, she was worked at her father’s music marketing firm, Movie Tunes. She was acted in the film named “Disaster Movie”. But this film was not succeed in the box office and it was rated the 2nd worst film ever made at the Internet Movie Database. She was also appeared in the television series “How I Met Your Mother”, ” The Simple Life”, “Beyond the Break”, “Sunset Tan”, ” WWE Raw “, ” WrestleMania XXIV etc and also participated in the American Broadcasting Company’s reality show “Dancing with the Stars”. She came into the news, when she was taking legal action to prevent the distribution of a sex tape involving Kardashian and ex-boyfriend, R&B singer Ray J. The tape was widely distributed on the internet and later Kardashian dropped that suit. Kardashian was married to music producer Damon Thomas and they divorced. She had a relationship with R&B music artists Ray J, but that relationship ended soon . Now she had a relationship with NFL star Reggie Bush. She is also turned into the business field. She and two of her sisters started a dress boutique named “Dash” in Calabasas, California. She released a workout DVD named ” Workout with Kim Kardashian” and also started a shoe shop.

Now India’’s opening batsman Gautam Gambhir stands as ‘Second Wall’ of Indian cricket, because his marathon clash helped the Indian team to draw the second Test against New Zealand. Gambhir scored 137runs from 436 balls by spending almost 11 hours and hitting just 18 boundaries in this match. Rahul Dravid is considered as the ‘First Wall’ of Indian cricket. Now Gautam Gambhir is the strong fighter for India’s opening position and one of the brightest young batting stars of world cricket. He is only the fourth Indian batsman to score a double century in a tour game at home.

India’s left-handed opening batsman Gautam Gambhir was born in Delhi. He comes from an army background and has a younger sister named Ekta. He gained his school education from Modern School, New Delhi and his nick name is “Gauti”. In 2003, Gautam Gambhir played his first One Day International match against Bangladesh in the TVS Cup at Dhaka where he scored 71 runs in his third match of the series and was named Man of the Match. He made his first ODI century against Sri Lanka in 2005. He made his Test debut against Australia in 2004, but he was not performed well in that match. His maiden Test century came against Bangladesh in 2004. During 2005, he made a number of starts in many matches, but he was failed to score more runs. He has often been criticized as not being able to convert his starts of 20 and 30 into larger scores, and he was dropped from the test team. He has played a number of ODI matches for India between 2005 and 2007. In 2007 Bangladesh tour, he made his second ODI century. In the 2007-08 CB Series, he scored unbeaten 102 runs against Sri Lanka and 113 runs against Australia. He was the leading run-scorer with 440 runs of that series. In 2008, he solidified his place in the Indian Test team with a string of high scores. He scored 858 runs in seven matches including a double century against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2008. He was also played in 2007 ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Cup in South Africa. His crucial 75 runs off 54 balls helped India to beat Pakistan in the final and to win the trophy. This Twenty20 World cup greatly enhanced his reputation on the global stage, because he was India’s top run scorer in that tournament with 227 runs at an average of 37.83, including 3 half-centuries. He was also signed by Delhi Daredevils for US$725,000 to play in Indian Premier League (IPL) for the 2008 season. He played 14 IPL matches and scored 534 runs, including 5 half-centuries, and was the second highest scorer in the IPL. With his ability to soak up pressure, run hard between the wickets, shy attitude and make his approach according to the team needs, Gambhir represents a fearless and aggressive style of cricket.
