Hollywood’s most awaiting Vin Diesel film “Fast & Furious 4″ was released on 3rd April, 2009. It is the fourth film in “The Fast and the Furious film series”. “The Fast and the Furious film series” are a street racing films produced by Universal Studios. “The Fast and the Furious”, “2 Fast 2 Furious”, “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” are other 3 films in that series and all are top grosses at the box office . “Fast & Furious 4″ takes place after the events of the first two films and is a prequel to the third film. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster are acted repeatedly in this film. Other peculiarities is Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are reuniting in this new sequel, since they were paired in 2001. The 5th part of this series is in development.
MOVIE REVIEW
“Fast & Furious 4″ takes place five years after the events of the first film of the series. International criminal Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) was escaped into Tokyo, after leaving his girlfriend Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and his gang . He returned into the Los Angeles by hearing the news of Litty’s murder. In order to find the killer of Litty, he goes to the place where Litty’s accident was occurred. At that place, he met David Park, who tells him only through a street race by Ramon Campos (John Ortiz) can he find Letty’s murderer. Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker) is an FBI agent. His aim is to find drug lord Arturo Braga. He also is led to David Park. Both Dom and Brian go to the underground entrance race that promised them a spot on the team that sell heroin across the United States-Mexico border. Dom wins the race, so that he can seek justice on Letty’s behalf. Brian gets one of Braga’s members arrested and takes his place on the team. Braga’s right handed man Ramon Campos meet them. Dom clashed with a racer named Fenix (Laz Alonso). He is a car driver who is clashed with Letty’s car before killing her. Dom and Brian are sent to the Mexican border to receive drugs followed by Fenix. They lead to the other side through an underground tunnel, so they are not seen by the satellite images and forward looking infrared used to monitor the borders. After that journey, Dominic understood that the drivers are thought of as disposable. After the selling of the product, they are shot and killed in order to avoid paying them. Letty was the only driver who escaped when they attempted to shoot her. However, the chase led to the car crash and subsequent shooting caused her death. Dom prevents this by exploding his car by discharging nitrous oxide with the spark from the cigarette lighter. Brian and Dom reached the U.S, where Brian arranges to release Dom. Brian speaks to his superiors about a plan that he has devised to trade the heroin for Braga if they will be pardon Dominic. An exchange is made with Campos, provided Braga delivers the money personally. The FBI is hold to arrest Braga at the exchange site, but Braga escaped from arrest and flees over the Mexican border out of the FBI’s jurisdiction. Brian and Dom chased him and take him to the US. Dom kills Fenix. FBI catches both Braga and Dom. Dom is sentenced to 25 years in prison. The end of this film leaves the opportunity for starting the next film in this series.

The music of this film was composed by Brian Tyler. Pitbull and his team mates add irresistible Latin flavor and spattering of Spanish lyrics in these musics. The songs of this film are in the following,

Mixed reviews are coming from all around the world. Famous newspapers and magazines praised this film. Many people commented that it is the wonderful gift to all Vin Diesel and the Fast & Furious series fans. Some people commented that there is no need to release the 4th series. We can see superb shots of super-fast cars burning up the road. Vin Diesel made his comeback as excellent. Director Justin Lin does a good job in this movie. Cinematography is good and Fred Raskin and Christian Wagner do a wonderful job on editing. Brian Tyler’s music is also good in this movie. Hope that this film will be super hit in coming days.

“Fast & Furious 4″ crashed all expectations, because the first day of release, this movie picked $30.5 million dollars. This film is also peaked at the top spot of the weekend box office with $72.5 million dollars which is more than other films of this series. Also this film is best April opening and the best opening for “Universal Pictures” since in 1997. The famous websites including “Rotten Tomatoes” and “Metacritic” give low rating to this film. But another website IMDB give 7.2 to this movie. We askmenay.com give the rate of 4/5 to this movie.
