ABOUT MOVIE

The movie “Love Aaj Kal” has two chapters one is a contemporary love story, which is ‘ Love Aaj’ set across London, San Francisco and Delhi and other is ‘Love Kal’ which happened in 1965 set across Delhi and Kolkatta. In ‘Love Aaj’ chapter, Jai (Saif Ali Khan) and Meera (Deepika Padukone) are a modern day couple lived in London. They are very happy together but do not believe in tying each other down. So when life pulls them in different directions, they decide to go with that flow. They believed that old love couples like Heer-Ranjha and Romeo-Juliet only exists in story books. In the second chapter, Veer Singh fell on love with Harleen when he first saw her and he travelled thousand kilometers by train to see her face and not speak any word with her. In both of these chapters, Veer does not understand how Jai can treat matters of the heart without passion and Jai does not understand how Veer Singh could have been silly about Harleen in the days of his youth. Whatever may be from both chapters, we can understand that the process of the relationship might be different in different eras, but the experience of being in love remains the same. So we can understand that certain thing don’t change with the passage of time. Saif and Deepika are paired together for the very first time and the chemistry they share is unbelievable in this film. This film has major similarities with cricket. Like there is Test cricket and T20, the film too has love of two generations- love ‘aaj’ and love ‘kal’. This film was not limited to any one age group and every one can connected to the subject of this film. This film is really the beginning of many things and hope that it will be super hit on the box office in coming days.
