Famous American actress Jennifer Aniston was selected as the second earning actress in the Hollywood by Forbes.com. She was earned $25 million in the past year. Angelina Jolie was the top earner and Meryl Streep and Sarah Jessica Parker were coming in the third and fourth position. Aniston was earned most of her millions from the romantic comedy “Marley and Me” and her upcoming film “The Baster.” She also earned money from the famous comedy show “Friends “and she gets a nice paycheck shilling for Glaceau’s SmartWater. Aniston was acted in many Hollywood films, and she had gained much popularity through her role as Rachel Green in the popular US comedy show “Friends”. For this role, she won an ‘Emmy Award’, a ‘Golden Globe Award’, and a ‘Screen Actors Guild Award’.

BIOGRAPHY

Jennifer Aniston was born on 11th February, 1969 in Sherman Oaks in California. She is the daughter of the actor John Aniston and actress Nancy Dow. She was grown in New York City. She was studied her school education from ‘Rudolf Steiner School’,New york and graduated from ‘Manhattan’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts’. She got the inspiration from her father and her god father Telly Savalas at an early age. In her school days, she was interested in many forms of art and proved to be a talented painter. After the graduation, she took roles in off-Broadway productions such as ‘For Dear Life’ and ‘Dancing on Checker’s Grave’. She had also done some part time jobs such as a telemarketer and bike messenger. In 1989, she moved to Los Angeles, and she acted as her first television role in 1990 on the short-lived series ‘Molloy’ and in the TV movie ‘Camp Cucamonga‘.  After that, she had appeared in many comedy shows such as ‘The Edge’, ‘Muddling Through’, ‘Quantum Leap’, ‘Herman’s Head’ and ‘Burke’s Law’. She was also acted in a horror film ‘Leprechaun’ in 1992. However, she had gained more popularity for her role as Rachel Green in the popular US comedy show “Friends” which telecasted on NBC from 1994 to 2004. Through that role, she became famous among television viewers and her hair style was widely copied. Aniston received a salary of one million dollars per episode and she was listed as highest paid TV actress of all time in ‘Guinness World Book of Records’. After that, she acted in Microsoft’s promotional advertisement for their new operating system, Windows 95 along with Friends co-stars Matthew Perry. In addition, she gained critical acclaim for her performances in the films like ‘Bruce Almighty’, ‘Along Came Polly’, ‘The Break-Up’, ‘The Good Girl’ and comedy dramas like ‘The Object of My Affection’, Friends with Money’ etc. Her 2008 comedy film ‘Marley & Me’ set a record for the largest Christmas Day box office ever with $14.75 million in ticket sales. In addition, its total worldwide gross was $161,608,269. Her recent comedy film ‘He is Just Not That into You’ which was released in February made $27.5 million, ranking #1 at the box office in its opening weekend. Her personal life is a big story of Hollywood Industry. She was dated with many stars including Charlie Schlatter, Daniel MacDonald , Tate Donovan and a musician Adam Duritz. In 2000, she was married to the famous actor Brad Pitt, but they separated in 2005. After that she had a relationship with actor Vince Vaughn, model Paul Sculfor and singer John Mayer. But all relationships were ended. Also she is the godmother of a child Coco Riley Arquette, the daughter of her friends actors Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette. She also involved in many charity activities. She is a supporter of “Friends of El Faro”, a non-profit organization that helps raise money for an orphanage ‘Casa Hogar Sion’, in Tijuana, Mexico and has appeared in many TV commercials for ‘St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’.

Now the Bollywood is waiting for the latest film titled “Kaminey” in which their favorite actor Shahid Kapoor is appearing in a double role. The director of the film is Vishal Bharadwaj and Ronnie Screwvala was produced this film under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. Priyanka Chopra and Amol Gupte are other leading characters of this film. The director Vishal Bharadwaj is also composed the music of this film with the lyrics of Gulzar. It is the story of two twin brothers, one is simple who works for an NGO, and other is a rough and tough who lives on the wrong side of the law. Romance, songs, dances etc are important ingredients of this film and hope that this film will be hit on the box office on 14th August 2009.

ABOUT MOVIE

Guddu and Charlie are two identical twin brothers, who are born and raised in Dharavi, Asia’s largest slum in the heart of Mumbai. These twin brothers in their early twenties decide to leave behind the immorality and move ahead into a life of luxury and pride.  However, the resemblance in their idea ends here as they both hate each other. One brother is a sweet, chocolaty while the other is a dark character. Guddu works as a trainee in a small NGO firm in the city and his wish is to reach in top position of the career. He is honest, diligent and careful. Charlies is making his living by taking the bet on the horse race course and for him, this is just a way to make quick money, and he dreams of becoming an authorized bookie one day. He is a street smart, sharp and brave only for himself. These two brothers don’t like each other, and they have built their lives so that their paths don’t ever cross. Their lives begin to break up, when Charlie gets mixed up in a deadly get-rich-quick scheme and Guddu realize  that the love of his life has accidentally put a price on his head. They find themselves facing rogue politicians, drug dealers and crooked cops. They uncover a deadly political-police-underworld nexus. They discover goodness within themselves, they thought didn’t exist. And most important of all, they find each other. Shahid Kapoor is acted as twin brothers Guddu and Charlie. For the tough role of Charlie, Shahid had to work out regularly for eight months under the guidance of trainer Abbas Ali. Priyanka Chopra portrays the role of Guddu’s girl friend Sweety Bhope who is traditional at heart. For the promotion of this film, the film maker and Shadid Kapoor were making an appearance at an FM radio station in Mumbai. The songs are the other important part of this movie. Most of the songs from Shahid’s film are hit songs. Hopes that the new shahid movie is giving super hit songs and also hope that this film will be super hit in coming days.

REVIEWS

Vishal Bharadwaj’s new movie “Kaminey” gained good reviews from the audiences. It is a box-office hit as it had earned Rs.330 million in its first weekend at the box office. Swine Flu had not affected the collection of this film. Audience liked the Shahid’s two avatars, good music and fast paced narrative of this film. Shahid Kapoor delivered a striking performance in a double role. Priyanka chopra performed very well in this movie. Her Marathi dialogue delivery is excellent. Its musics are also super hit, especially “Dhan te nan”. Vishal Bharadwaj really shined in six roles as a director, producer, singer, music director, screenplay and dialogue writer through this film.
