MOVIE REVIEW

The movie “Dil Bole Hadippa” tells the story of a young woman Veera Kaur (Rani Mukherjee) lives in a village. Though she works with a theater group, but her dream is to play cricket with big cricket players like Sachin and Dhoni. In her village, girls did not play cricket. So she had to put on a hat and beard and become a man Veer Pratap Singh to fulfill her dream. Rohan (Shahid Kapoor) is the famous captain of the England’s cricket team.  He is an Indian, but he lives with her mother Yamini (Poonam Dhillon) in England. Due to unexpected circumstance Rohan’s parents are separated and his father Chaudhry Vikramjeet Singh (Anupam Kher) lives in India, but the bond between the father and son continues. Rohan returns to India to fulfill his father’s dream to win the Aman Cup for his father’s cricket team which has been losing consecutively for the last 8 years. At that time, Veera showed brilliant performance in cricket fielding, and she earned a position in Rohan’s team. On the way, Veera and Rohan fall in love with each other. It is a light-hearted romantic comedy movie which touches on serious issues in our society. Rani Mukherjee is showing wonderful performance in the roles of Veera and Veer Pratap Singh. The chemistry between Shahid and Rani is excellent and after the success of the film “Kaminey”, Shahid introduces a new age romantic hero through this film. Hope that this film will be super hit in coming days.

REVIEWS

“Dil Bole Hadippa” got mixed reviews from the viewers. Some commented that it is a family entertainer movie. This film is the return of the “Queen of Bollywood” Rani Mukherji, who tried at her best to make her two different role as excellent. Shahid also has done a good job, but his performance is not so good as his previous movie “Kaminey”. The music by Pritam Chakraborty is also good in this movie. Some people commented that it is average movie. In their opinion, it is a story less blunder from the top and renowned movie banner Yashraj Films. The first half of the movie is slow paced, and the chemistry between Rani and Shahid is completely a failure and does not make any waves in the Bollywood.
