ULTIMATE AERO

Indian automobile manufacturers will have to face the toughest competition in the Indian automobile market, because the US- based automobile manufacturer, Shelby Super Car(SSC) is now ready to hit the Indian roads by launching its “Ultimate Aero” in the Indian market. “Ultimate Aero” is considered as the world’s fastest car with a maximum speed of 413kmph, and it can travel as fast as a jetliner. SSC has decided to launch this car initially in Mumbai and then in Delhi. India will be the third market where this car is sold after the US and Russia. “Ultimate Aero” will be the most expensive car to be sold in India at a price of Rs. 6 crore after the car ‘Maybach’ from Mercedes-Benz. This fastest car gained its speed with a 6.35L twin-turbo V8 engine which runs at 14PSI of boost and produces 1147hp of power at 6950 rpm and 1113NM of torque at 6200 rpm, with a 91 octane fuel. The car is built of lightweight titanium and carbon fibre material to minimize weight. The front face of the car is built with improved aerodynamics and carbon fiber, which provides additional air to the radiators for better cooling. The AeroBrakeTM system has been introduced in this car. It also comes with a host of luxury features including customized supple leather seats and suede interior, multi-speaker music system, on-board video and DVD screen, automatic back-up camera, navigational backup, power windows and mirrors. “Ultimate Aero” is really an example of American craftsmanship. It would be the first high-speed car sold in India and hope that in the future, it will compete with other super cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Koenigsegg.

SHELBY SUPER CAR (SSC)

Shelby Super Car(SSC) is an American automobile company founded by an automotive lover Jerod Shelby in 1999. It’s headquarters is located in ‘Tri-Cities’, Washington. This company rose into fame with the production of the “Ultimate Aero” in 1997. “Ultimate Aero” became selected as the ‘World’s Fastest Production Car’ by Guinness World Records and took the title of the fastest production car from the ‘Bugatti Veyron’. It has maximum speed of 413kmph, and it can travel as fast as a jetliner.  SSC opened its showroom in Dubai in February 2009. This large 6200 square foot showroom is located at the entrance of the famous Dubai Twin Towers. SSC has also planned  to develop the first 100% Green Super car ‘Ultimate Aero EV (Electric Vehicle)’ and also aims to break the record for the fastest electric car in the world.

NOKIA N900

NOKIA

Nokia is one of the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones. In 1865, Fredrik Idestam established a wood-pulp mill and started manufacturing paper in southern Finland near the banks of a river. At the beginning of the 20th century, company acquired the Nokia Wood Mills and also acquired a company producing telegraph and telephone cables, the Finish Cable Works. The following year, the company had produced many products like paper, bicycle, car tires, personal computers, footwear, communication cables, electricity generation machineries, televisions, aluminum, capacitors etc. In 1987, Nokia introduced one of the world’s first hand held phones called ‘Mobira Cityman 900′ . It was a worldwide commercial success. After three years, Nokia introduced its first Global Systems for Mobile communications or GSM phone. Nokia has introduced its first GSM handset named ‘Nokia 1011′ and it was introduced a ring tone in 1994 with the Nokia 2100 series. In 1997, Nokia company introduced a classic game named ‘Snake’ highly associated with the company. In 1998, Nokia mobile phones became the world’s leader, and it was introduced another handset in the world. In 2007, Nokia Company was announced and released the Nokia N82, its first Nseries phone with Xenon flash. Next year, Nokia released the Nokia E71. From 1865 until today, Nokia continues to make a great history in mobile phone industry, and it is a world leader in digital technologies, including mobile phones, telecommunication networks, wireless data solutions and multimedia terminals.
