KAWASAKI NINJA 250R

The famous automobile company Bajaj Auto surprised their customers with a new advanced bike Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The company launched this much awaited and highly anticipated sports bikes in Pune.  The bike introduced in India with a new green -black paint scheme. It will have a price tag of Rs 2,69,670 ex-showroom Delhi and Rs 2,69,580 ex-showroom Chennai. It is powered by a 249cc liquid cooled, parallel twin, DOHC petrol engine, which develops maximum power of 32 Bhp at 11000 rpm with maximum torque of 22 Nm at 8200 rpm. It features a six-speed transmission that has been revised for smoother shifting, and is mated to a more durable clutch. It includes the features like ease of use, controlled power delivery, and amazing handling characteristics. Its four-valve per cylinder, liquid cooled parallel twin engine churns out a very respectable 33PS of power at a screaming 11,000rpm, a fact that most sport bike enthusiasts will be satisfied with. Its liberal wheelbase ensures stability and ease of the ride is also at a high. It is the best looking 250 cc sports bike. It features a very aggressive look when viewed head-on, as it features dual-lamp headlamp. The rear view mirrors are mounted the smart fairing which is very well integrated in line with the overall look of the bike. Between the mirrors, there is black tinted windscreen that offers protection for the rider. It comes factory fitted with 6 spoke black alloy wheels, which look very stunning with racing strips at the rim.  Under the rear seat, there are two helmet holders. The tail side is also having sporty looks. Step-up seat is another attracting feature of the bike. This bike is available in 2 shades - Lime Green and Ebony Black. It looks best in Lime Green shade for which all kawasaki are known.

Bajaj Auto is a leading manufacturer of automobiles. They were the India’s largest and the world’s 4th largest two- and three-wheeler maker. It is based in Pune, Maharashtra. The company makes motorscooters, motorcycles and auto rickshaw. The Forbes Global 2000 lists for the year 2005 ranked Bajaj Auto at 1946.The company is headed by Rahul Bajaj who is worth more than US$1.5 billion. The company came in to existence in November 29, 1945. In 1959, it obtained a license from the Government of India to manufacture two and three wheelers, and it went public in 1960. Bajaj has grown operations in 50 countries by creating a line of value-for-money bikes targeted to the different preferences of entry-level buyers. The company also aims on its low cost car, which it is building with Renault and Nissan Motor, will aim at a fuel efficiency, or twice an average small car, and carbon dioxide emissions. In 1986, it managed to produce and sell 500,000 vehicles in a single financial year. In 1995, it rolled out its ten millionth vehicle and produced and sold 1 million vehicles in a year.

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER - BARACK OBAMA

First African American President of the United States, Barack Obama added another honor in his life. He won this year’s Nobel peace prize for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between people. He was selected for this award from 205 nominations including Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, Colombian senator Piedad Cordoba and Chinese dissident Hu Jia etc. Obama is a good positive thinker, and he captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future. He created a new climate in international politics. Really, this award is an honor of his vision and work for a world without nuclear weapons.

BIOGRAPHY

The first black leader of America, Barack Obama was born on 4th 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA as the son of American mother Ann Durham and Kenyan father Barack Obama, Sr. He had to face the world of loneliness at the age of 2. His parents divorced at that time. Then his mother married to an Indonesian oil manager Lolo and they moved to Jakarta. He had also a half sister named Maya Soetoro-Ng. After some years, he moved to Hawaii and was looked after by his grandparents. He completed his school education in Hawaii. Later he joined in Occidental college for two years, and then he acquired BA graduation from Columbia university in New York. After that he practiced law at Harvard university. At that time, he was elected in the first African-American editor of the Harvard law review. He began to work after this under several institutions like Business International Corporation, New York Public Interest Research Group etc. He also worked as the member of the board of directors of Public Allies, Woods Fund of Chicago, Joyce Foundation, Chicago Annenberg Challenge etc. In 1996, Obama was elected to the Illinois State Senate from the south side neighborhood of Hyde park, in Chicago. As senator, he is the most liberal senator and made many achievements in this position. In 2004 general elections, Obama was elected to the U.S.senate as a Democrat, representing Illinois. He was the fifth African-American Senator in U.S.history. In 2008 Democratic presidential election, Barack Obama defeated John McCain with 365 electoral votes to McCain’s 173 and became the first African American President of the United States. As a president, he has become a symbol of hope, change, and unity. He introduced many steps to recover from worldwide recession. He signed a $787 billion economic stimulus package ‘American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009′, introduced ‘Public-Private Investment Program’ etc to recover from recession. He also took steps in war in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is married to Michelle Robinson, and they had 2 kids named Malia Ann and Natasha. Obama is a protestant Christian and he is a firm believer in his religion. Obama has a good talent in writing, and he wrote many books like “Dream from my father” and the “Audacity of Hope”. He received Grammy awards for abridged audio book versions of both these books. Time magazine elected him as the “Person of the year for his historic candidacy and election” in 2008 December.
