Famous mobile phone manufacturers ‘Motorola’ launched their new smart phone titled ‘Motorola Droid’ in the market. It is considered as the killer of Apple’s ‘iphone’ and it provides many features. It is come with 3.7-inch, 854-by-480 pixel touch screen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 5-mega pixel camera with DVD-quality video recording etc. It runs on an Android 2.0 operating systems, and we can access more than 12000 applications using the 3G network. It also uses an Arm Cortex 550mHz A8 processor with 256MB of built-in memory. It has a 16GB microSD card and can be expanded to 32GB. The most exciting feature of this phone is that it includes a cool, free mapping application from Google that can announce the turn-by-turn directions. Camera’s LED flash facility helps to take photos even at the low light.

It is a manufacturer of wireless telephone handsets and sells wireless network infrastructure equipments. It’s products inlude set-top boxes, digital video recorders, and network equipments and high-definition television. Initially, this company produces battery eliminator, car radios etc. In 1955, Motorola’s main business was producing and selling television and radios. It have achieved extraordinary accomplishments like world’s first handheld cellular phone, the ‘DynaTAC 8000x’. It introduced the world’s first commercial high-power germanium-based transistor in 1955 and in 1960, it introduced the world’s first “large-screen” transistorized, cordless portable television. It also introduced first two way ‘pager’ and it produced many mobile phones. Now this company mainly focus on smart phones which runs on Google’s android mobile operating system.
