BAJAJ PULSAR 135LS

The famous motorcycle maker ‘Bajaj Auto Ltd’ is now attracting the youth customers with their new bike. They launched their smallest bike in the Pulsar range titled “Bajaj Pulsar 135LS” in the Indian markets. LS stands for ‘Light Sports’. This bike is powered with a 135cc 4 valve DTS-i engine, which produces 13.5Ps of power at 9000rpm and 11.4Nm of torque at 7500rpm. Other features include a tachometer, a digital speedo with fuel gauge, clip-on handlebars and Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. A 1325 mm wheelbasse should keep the Bajaj Pulsar 135LS firmly on the road. With its shaped lines and aggressive look, a sporty split-seat, aluminum clip-on handlebars, light kerb weight of only 122 kg and a lot of other features this power packed 135cc Pulsar delivers a wonderful performance compared to other 150-cc. It’s DTS-i blended with 4 valve engine not only enhance the performance but also return a very good fuel economy. In addition, it offers both kick start and electric start. The price of this bike is Rs 51000.

Bajaj Auto is a leading manufacturer of automobiles. They were the India’s largest and the world’s 4th largest two- and three-wheeler maker. It is based in Pune, Maharashtra. The company makes motorscooters, motorcycles and auto rickshaw. The Forbes Global 2000 lists for the year 2005 ranked ‘Bajaj Auto’ at 1946.The company is headed by Rahul Bajaj whose worth is more than US$1.5 billion. The company came in to existence in November 29, 1945. In 1959, it obtained a license from the Government of India to manufacture two and three wheelers, and it went public in 1960. Bajaj has grown operations in 50 countries by creating a line of value-for-money bikes targeted to the different preferences of entry-level buyers. The company also aims on its low cost car, which it is building with Renault and Nissan Motor, will aim at a fuel efficiency, or twice an average small car, and carbon dioxide emissions. In 1986, it managed to produce and sell 500,000 vehicles in a single financial year. In 1995, it rolled out its ten millionth vehicle and produced and sold 1 million vehicles in a year. This company revolutionized India’s scooter market with their first scooter ‘Chetak’. Now it sells only one scooter the 100-cc gearless ‘Kristal’. Recently, this company announced that they will stop the production of scooters by the March of the next year.
