Taiwan-based mobile company ‘HTC’, launched their first windows phone titled “HTC HD2″ in the Indian market. It is powered by the Windows mobile 6.5 operating system. This includes 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen with 800×480 resolution, 5 mega pixel auto focus camera ,1GHZ Qualcomm processor ,GPS ,WiFi and upto 32 GB expandable memory, 3.5-mm stereo audio jack, standard Micro-USB, Bluetooth 2.1, built-in GPS antenna. It’s touch screen allows multi-touching and helps the users to customise the home screen with shortcuts of their choice. Users can also resize documents, websites and photo using their fingers. By using the camera, users can capture images upto 2592 x 1944 pixels and videos at 30 fps. This phone is also considered as a social phone, because it includes inbuilt applications for accessing Facebook ,Twitter ,Youtube and other online services . It also offers acceleration sensors, touch sensors, light-sensitive sensor. When the mobile phone is close to the cheeks, the phone will automatically turn off the screen. It is also meant to achieve energy-saving purposes. In addition, it includes a 1230 mAh Li-on battery which provide 12 hours music playback and 5-6 hours talk time and also includes a video player that supports HD videos , DivX and all other general formats .
