Bollywood’s favorite actress Vidya Balan is trying to do something different in her forthcoming movie “Ishqiya”. She will be play a negative role for the first time through this movie. This movie is the directorial debut of Abhishek Chaubey and is produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bharadwaj. Bollywood’s veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi are also acting along with Vidya Balan in this movie. This movie is a emotional journey of three people and it will be hit on the box office on 29th January, 2010.

ABOUT MOVIE

The movie “Ishqiya” is a strange story of romance. Khalujan (Naseeruddin Shah) and Babban (Arshad Warsi) are two thieves who run from their boss Mushtaq. They find protection in an old friend’s house. Instead of their friend, they found his widow, Krishna (Vidya Balan). Both are fallen love with her as Khalujan with his tinted vision of old-fashioned love and Babban with his lustful eye. When Khalujan and Babban realized that she is cheating them, then they want to kill her but they cannot kill her. This film really explores basic human emotions as influenced by desire, greed and revenge. It is a mixture of romance and suspense. It deals with various aspects of love, lust, complete submission and false love. It could be described as a female-centric film, because Vidya plays a bold and provocative role in this movie. However her appearance is very simple in this movie. Othe actors also did their job excellent in this movie. Hope that this film will be hit on the box office in coming days.

MUSIC

The movie “Ishqiya” has four original and three remix songs. Songs of this film are from the team of Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj who created the super hit songs in many films including ‘Kaminey’, ‘Omkara’ and ‘Maachis’. Vishal Bhardwaj is the music composer and Gulzar is the lyricist of the songs of this movie. Vishal Bhardwaj proved that he is not only a good filmmaker but also a brilliant musician through the songs of this movie. The songs are in the following,

DALE STEYN

South Africa’s fast bowler Dale Steyn is the hero of South Africa in their fourth Test against England. He took five wickets in the opening day of their match and England was all out with 180 runs. Steyn is a South Africa’s Test and ODI cricket player and he holds the record for fastest South African for gaining 100 wickets in test cricket.

BIOGRAPHY

South Africa’s right-arm fast bowler, Dale Steyn was born on 27th June 1983, in Phalaborwa, South Africa. His domestic career started with ‘Northerns’ cricket team in 2003. He also played for English county clubs such as ‘Essex’ and ‘Warwickshire’. He was the leading wicket-taker for Warwickshire in ‘Friends Provident Trophy’ in 2007. His international career started in 2004 with a test match against England. Steyn made his ODI debut against Australia in 2006. However his bowling performace was very poor in that match and in the next match against Sri Lanka. Then he was dropped from South African ODI team. In 2006, he returned back to the test cricket with wonderful performace. He made a huge impression with his first five wicket haul in a test against New Zealand  He finished that three Test series with 16 wickets at an average 26.00. In a test seriest against Sri Lanka, he gained his second five wickets haul and totally, he took eight wickets in that series. In addition, he gained six wickets in a test series against India. He returned back in South African ODI squad in 2007 and made success in many matches. At the same time, he became the established member of the Test team of South Africa. In a test match against New Zealand, he gained his first ten wicket haul in 2007. In the second test match, he gained his second ten wicket haul and he was awarded ‘Man of the Match’ and ‘Man of the Series’. After that, he was listed in top five of the ICC rankings for Test bowlers for the first time in his career. Steyn continued his form in other test series against India, Australia, West Indies and Bangladesh. He currently has the second best bowling strike rate of all time in Test match cricket and he was rewarded with the prestigious ‘ICC 2008 Test Cricketer’ of the Year Award.  His first T20 International match was against New Zealand in 2007. Steyn is really a competitive cricketer and he is also capable of hitting the balls at number ten or eleven of the team.
