HYUNDAI I20 ERA

World’s fourth largest automobile company ‘Hyundai’ is now trying to strong it position in the compact car segament by launching their new i20 variant “Hyundai i20 Era” in the Indian automobile markets. This new car is the first model of this company which is packed with six-speed manual transmission gears in the diesel variant. The sixth gear will assist engine do its work at a low rpm making it more fuel-efficient and bringing down its noise, vibration and harshness. This will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. In addition, it is loaded with a lot of amazing feaures which includes Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) system, built in USB port, a burglar alarm, steering wheel with audio remote and passenger vanity mirror, large headlamps and fog lamps, chrome radiator grille, outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators etc. It is also equipped with standard safety features such as ABS, seat belts with pre-tensioner, dual air-bags for the driver and front passanger, auto-unlocking doors. It’s Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS) and suspension systems makes driving very easily. The price of this new variant is ranging from Rs 4.51 to 5.31 lakh.

HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY

‘Hyundai Motor Company’ is the world’s fourth largest automaker and its head quarters is located in Seoul, South Korea. This automotive giant was established by Chung Ju-Yung in 1967 and its first model car is ‘Cortina’. Now this company produces 37 variants of passenger cars in various segments. The ‘Santro’ in the B segment, the ‘Getz Prime’, ‘i10′ and the Premium hatchback ‘i20′ in the B+ segment, the ‘Accent’ and the ‘Verna’ in the C segment, the ‘Sonata Embera’ in the E segment and the ‘Tucson’ in the SUV segment are the various passenger cars produced by Hyundai. It grows in one of the top 100 most valuable brands worldwide. Their luxury car ‘Hyundai Genesis’ gained a number of famous automobile awards worldwide. It has been named as ‘North American Car of the Year’ in 2009, and it gained ‘Canadian Car of the Year’ award in 2009. Now this company is looking for the production of hybrid electric vehicles.

VOLKSWAGEN JETTA

German luxury car manufacturer ‘Volkswagen’ launched their upgraded version of ‘Jetta’ in Indian roads. This new car is equipped with he new 2.0L CRDe that generates 110PS of max power at 4200rpm and 250Nm of max torque. It comes as a 4-door sedan or 4-door wagon. Both body styles are available in S and SE trim levels. It comes with three variants and 2 engines including a 1.6 litre petrol engine and a 1.9 litre diesel engine in India. It’s two versions are Trendline and Comfortline. The petrol Trendline Jetta comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the diesel Comfortline version comes with a six-speed automatic gearshift. There are eight airbags in diesel Comfortline model and it provide a quiet comfort in long journeys. It’s other features are  arm rests in the front as well as the rear, 2 AC vents at the rear besides 2-zone climate control, coming-home and leaving-home lighting and rain sensors on windshields, anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Stabilisation Program with steering assist, Traction control, Antiskid system, Anti-theft system etc. A navigation system, sunroof, and iPod adapter are among the available options. A panoramic sunroof is available on the wagon. The price of this amazing car is Rs  15.92 lakhs in India.

VOLKSWAGEN INDIA

‘ Volkswagen’ is the famous car manufacturer in Germany. It is a number one car maker in Europe, and it is well known for its extraordinary services and high customer satisfaction.  It started its operation in India in 2006 and build a production plant in Pune in Maharashtra. Initially, it brought locally produced vehicles to the Indian market and later the supply of Volkswagen Passenger Cars increased. Then the Group has established a separate Indian sales company in 2007 named “Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited”, which distributed locally manufactured and imported vehicles in India. They launched three latest models namely VW Passat Highline DSG S, VW Passat Highline DSG, and VW Touareg in India.   With the vehicles safetty features, size and drive technologies, this company made a huge success in the Indian market.
