APPLE IPAD

Famous software and hardware company, ‘Apple Inc’ has launched their most anticipated media tablet ‘ipad’ in the markets. It is the new product of Apple’s group of products including Apple’s highly successful iPod, iTunes, iPhone, iPod touch, and App Store ecosystem. This tablet computer is running on the iPhone operating system and its function is similar to iPod Touch. It offers multitouch interaction with multimedia formats including newspapers, magazines, ebooks, textbooks, photos, movies, TV shows videos, music, word processing documents, spreadsheets, video games, and all existing iPhone applications. It has an LED-backlit 9.7-inch color IPS LCD display screen and the entire screen gets displayed with icons. So we can easily get mail, contacts, iPod, iTunes, app store, Safari, video, settings, maps, calendar, photos, YouTube just clicking that icon. It also includes a mobile version of Safari for internet browsing, and we can connect this device to the internet via Wi-Fi and optional 3G service. It has very fast processor 1GHz A4 SOC. In addition, almost all the iPhone applications can be run on iPad. It will be available in 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB storage capacities and it does not support any external memory card. Its keypad is similar to the standard QWERTY keyboard, and we also pair it with bluetooth keyboards. In addition, it also includes other accessories including Keyboard Dock with hardware keyboard, 30-pin connector, and audio jack, case which can be used to stand the iPad in various positions, dock with 30-pin connector and audio jack, dock connector to VGA Adapter for external monitor or projector, camera connection kit for transferring photos and videos and USB Power Adapter with 2A. The drawback of this device is that its lack of ability for multitasking, lack of flash support on the browser, and it does not have a camera. The expectation is that this media tablet will be available at the end of March 2010 with the price around $1000.

By August 7, 2006 Apple had transitioned the entire Mac product line to Intel chips. Accer is a Taiwan based multinational electronics manufacturer whose products are desktops, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), servers and storage, computer peripherals etc. It employs 5400 people throughout the world and has created a consolidated sales and service network in more than 100 countries.
