15TH EDITION OF WILLS INDIA FASHION WEEK

Fashion week always helps the people to know the latest fashion trends in the world. To boost the fashion industry of India, ‘Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI)’ annually conducted a fashion week titled “Wills India Fashion Week” (WIFW). WIFW is the India’s biggest fashion trade event where the best of India’s fashion industry brought together on a common platform. This fashion week acted as a medium for the fashion designers and young professionals associated with the fashion industry in India to display their virtue and earn for themselves a name among the people. In addition, it is a successful platform that brings together the best of designers, buyers from India and overseas and provides industry professionals the opportunity to form trade links within India and western countries. The 15th Edition of ‘Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week’ will be started on today at the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) exhibition complex in Okhla. 130 designers from all over the country will showcase their clothes on the ramp over 43 shows. Of the 19 designers making their debut at the fashion week, eight take the ramp and 11 will showcase in the stall area. In this edition of WIFW, the show format is changed. The show will start as early as 11:20 a.m and there will be a minimum of eight shows a day. Many new designers from all over the country are participating in this edition of five-day fashion event. Many famous designers like JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, Rocky S, Ritu Beri and Ranna Gill are participating in this event but at the same time, this show will miss some famous names like Rohit Bal, Wendell Rodericks, Narendra Kumar and Manish Arora. Nida Mahmood, Atsu, Alpana-Neeraj, Ashima-Leena, Kavita Bhartia, Gaurav Gupta, Vineet Bahl, Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna, Payal Jain, Niki Mahajan, Abraham & Thakore and Nandita Basu are the other designers who will showcase their collections in this event. Debutant designers like Nandita Mahtani and famous TV actress Neena Gupta’s daughter Masaba will also be present their collections. Veteran designers like David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore  will showcase on the ramp for the first time. Other pecularity of this edition is that there will also be live streaming of the shows and the jewellery designer Farah Khan is the official tweeter of this event. She will give live updates on the event, will share her views on the ramp shows, upload pictures of the event and respond to tweets too. So get ready for watching this amazing fashion event..

“Wills India Fashion Week” (WIFW) is the India’s biggest fashion show event, which is annually held in New Delhi. It is the successful event that brings the best fashion designers from various countries, and they display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers can look at these new collections. From this event, we can understand what is the latest fashion and what is out of fashion for the season. It really provides a platform for new talents to showcase their ability and all fashion designers are tried their best to attract audience attention by displaying their latest designs, color shades and clothing construction. It is the only fashion event in India, which takes Indian fashion industry to the global stage.

British Pop Star Cheryl Cole is now honored for her beauty. Cole has been voted as the most photogenic woman ever in a new poll of 4000 British women conducted by the famous photography company Nikon. She has beaten Hollywood legends Audrey Hepburn, Beyonce Knowles and Marilyn Monroe in this contest. Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Megan Fox, Princess Diana and Grace Kelly were also reached in top ten of the contest list. Cheryl Cole is not only a famous pop singer, but also she showed her talent in song writing, dancing, fashion designing and writing.

BIOGRAPHY

Pop singer Cheryl Cole was born on 30th June, 1983 in Newcastle, England. In her childhood, she showed interest in dancing and modelling. She joined the Royal Ballet’s summer school at the age of nine for dancing and appeared in many modelling competitions such as Boots Group’s bonniest baby, Mothercare Happy Faces Portrait competition, Best Looking Girl of Newcastle, The Evening Chronicle “Little Miss and Mister”, and “Most Attractive Girl” at the MetroCentre In additon, she also appearein in many TV advertisments. She rose into famous in 2002 through a reality television competition programme titled “Popstars: The Rivals”. Five of the girls in that competition formed a group titled “Girls Aloud’ and Cheryl Cole was also included that group. This group reached the UK pop top 10 with 20 different singles. Their singles received nominations for four ‘BRIT Awards and won the award for ‘Best Single’ in 2009 for the single “The Promise”. Their world hit albums are “The Sound of Girls Aloud” and “Out of Control” . Cole’s solo music career started with will.i.am’s pop hit “Heartbreaker” in 2008. After that, she began working on solo material. The first single “Fight for This Love” was released in October 2009 and became the fastest selling single of the year. Her debut solo album “3 Words” was also gained great success in the music industry. In 2008, she was also appeared as a judge on the British reality television show ‘The X Factor’ She also produced a off television programme titled “Cheryl Cole’s Night In” for ITV1. Willoughby was the host of this show and Cole performed songs from her debut solo album, 3 Words, and the programme also featured performances from other musical acts as well as interviews conducted by Willoughby. She also wrote an autobiography titled “Dreams that Glitter - Our Story” with her ‘Girls Aloud’ bandmates. Cole is married to England and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole. Cole is appearing on the cover of British Vogue and Elle magazines and she is currently the face of L’Oreal hair products.
