NICKLAS BENDTNER
With the help of Danish football player Nicklas Bendtner’s hat-trick goals against ‘FC Porto’, Arsenal entered in the quarter final of the Champions Leagu. Arsenal gained 5-0 victory over FC Petero in the second round of the Champions Leagu. Nicklas Bendtner is the center-forward striker of the English football club ‘Arsenal’ and the ‘Denmark national team’. He is considered as the sharpest shooters of the football.
BIOGRAPHY
Nicklas Bendtner was born on 16th January, 1988 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He started to playing football in his homeland clubs like ‘B.93′ and ‘Kjøbenhavns Boldklub’ (KB). He scored four goals in six Danish national youth team matches. At the age of 16, he joined in the English club ‘Arsenal’ in 2004 and his first match was against Sunderland in ‘2005 League Cup match’. He spent a year on loan at ‘Birmingham City’ football club in 2006 and returned to Arsenal team during 2007–08 Premier League season. In that season, he gained goals against ‘Paris Saint Germain’ and ‘Newcastle United’, and he scored his debut ‘UEFA Champions League’ goal against ‘SK Slavia Praha’. In addition, Arsenal gained many victories with the help of his goals during that season. In 2008–09 season, Bendtner scored four goals in the Arsenal’s 10–2 victory against ‘Burgenland XI’, and he gained his first Premier League goal against ‘Bolton Wanderers’. The year 2009 is good for him, because in that year, he scored total 14 goals for Arsenal. Now in 2010, Bendtner gained his first hat-trick for Arsenal against Porto in the second round of the Champions League. Bendtner is also a player of ‘Denmark national team’. He started his international career by gaining three goals for the ‘Denmark under-16 national team in 2004. He played for ‘Danish senior national team’ at the age of 18 in 2006. He gained one goal in his debut game against Poland. In the ‘2010 World Cup qualifiers’, he showed a wonderful performance by gaining three goals. With the help of his performance, Denmark qualified for the ‘2010 World Cup’, and he was named as ‘Danish Player of the Year’ and his goal against Portugal won the ‘Goal of the Year award’.
