Japan is in 8th position in Beijing Olympics medal’s table. Japan’s gold medal count at this games is to nine, silver medal six and the bronze medal ten. The judo team is very strong in japan. The country have a lot of gold medals in the Judo competition. Japan is one of the qualified Olympics nations. Japan’s 350 qualified competitors did very well in this Beijing Olympics . Japanese wrestling sisters Kaori and Chiharu Icho won gold and silver medals in Beijing. It is the tremendous achievements of the Japan. A few details of Japan medalists.

1.KITAJIMA KOSUKE

Kitajima is a greatest breaststroke swimmer in Japan. He make a dignified history in the breaststroke in this Beijing Olympics. He won a multiple gold medal in this Olympics. He won a gold medal in the men’s 100m breaststroke with a new world record by 0.22 seconds and the another gold medal in the 200meter breaststroke. He is a very dazzling and well trained performer. Totally, he has four gold medals and one bronze medal in the Beijing Olympics. Kitajima is also a part of the more competitions which won a lot of gold medals. He is very popular for Asian Games 2002, he won six gold medals and one silver in that games. He is a fabulous swimmer and the multiple gold and the bronze are the big achievements of his future. Better performance, that was good enough to earn the victory.

2.YOSHIDA SAORI

Japan’s Yoshida saori won the gold medal of 55kg women’s freestyle wrestling. She is also gold winner for the 2004 Summer Olympics. She is a number one performer in the wrestling field and she gained her first world title by beating American Tina George for gold in 2002. In Japan, there are many other famous wrestlers, but Yoshida saori is amazing because she was born into a wrestling family. She started wrestling at the age of three, followed her father. She has been so involved and very hard worker in the sport. That was the secret of her victory. The wrestling competition of Beijing Olympics was very tough, but Yoshida was gained the gold medal in this tough battle, and thus she gave greatest surprise to her country.

3.ICHO KAORI

Japan has repeated the gold medal in the wrestling competition. Japanese wrestler Icho Kaori won the gold medal in the 63-kilogram of women’s wrestling at the Beijing Olympic Games 2008. This gold medal is the greatest reward for the kaori. She has also won the gold medals in 2004 summer Olympics games and won three world championships. Icho kaori and her elder sister, both are very involved in the wrestling field. The Icho sisters are world champions in their respective weight classes.

4.UCHISHIBA MASATO

In the judo competition of Beijing Olympics, Japan’s Uchishiba Masato won the gold medal in the Men’s 66kg, by beating the Benjamin Darbelet of France. He had also won the Olympic gold medal at the 2004 Olympics and the silver medal at the 2005 judo world championships. Judo is the traditional sports in Japan and one of the most widely practiced sports in the world. Uchishiba was very good technical player and well trained performer. Uchshiba is very well experienced in this sports. Uchishiba’s biggest dream is succeeded in this Olympics.

5.ISHII SATOSHI

Ishii is competing the first Olympics games and he won judo gold in the Men’s 100kg weight class in the Beijing Olympics. He also won the ‘All-Japan Judo Championships’ in Tokyo, Japan and silver medal at the 2006 Asian Game.The gold medal is satoshi’s ultimate reward and it’s a biggest surprise of his future. In the great quality and very conclusive competitions, Ishii gained the competition with gold. He have a very dazzling performances in Beijing. Ishii is so confident and powerful fighter and he is very involved in this field, that was good enough to earn the victory. The country is very happy for his achievement.

6. TANIMOTO AYUMI

Tanimoto Ayumi of Japan won the gold medal in the Women’s 63kg Judo competition. She was also won the bronze medal at the 2007 World Championships, but she has competed in only 33 matches in international competitions since 2004. I think the Beijing is one of the happiest moment of Ayumi’s future. She is a fabulous performer and good competitor of Japan. She once again successfully proved his activity. She made her Olympic debut in Athens and she has won all matches in the Summer Games. She is the really the queen of Japanese Judo.

7. UENO MASAE

Ueno Masae of Japan needed just six seconds to beat Cuba’s Anaysi Hernandez with an ippon to claim her second consecutive Olympic gold in Judo Women’s -70kg. She also won the gold medal in the World championship, Asian championship in 2008 and the Olympics games, Athens 2004. Her family fully involved in this sports especially her younger sisters,Yoshie and Tomoe. Both are also famous judos.The victory gave Japan its fifth Women’s Judo gold medal of the Games. Ueno is the well prepared competitor and she showed the best performances in Beijing. Her self confidence and the better performance were helped her to earn the victory in Beijing.

8. OTA YUKI

Ota Yuki of Japan won the silver medal in the men’s individual foil final of fencing. He also won the 2008 Asian Fencing Championships in Bangkok. Ota Yuki ninth-place finisher at the Athens 2004 Olympics. Yuki’s performances is one of the most spectacular performances in Beijing.

9. ICHO CHIHARU

Icho Chiharu is one of the 10 athletes from Japan. She is participating  in wrestling competition at Beijing Olympics 2008. She is silver medalist in the women’s freestyle 48-kilogram wrestling. She also won the silver medalist in the 2004 Athens Olympics. she was fully satisfied with the silver and she did very well to gain that silver medal.  Her younger sister Kaori is also famous wrestler. she is truly very dazzling performer in the wrestling field.

10. NAGAI KIYOFUMI

Japan cyclist Kiyofumi Nagai won the Bronze medal in the keirin final. He was also participated in many events and he is a well trained cyclist. Twenty-five cyclists were competed in the Keirin. He did very well and the bronze medal is the biggest achievement of his future. He became the first Japanese to win a medal in this event  since it became part of the Olympics at the 2000 Sydney Games.
