Australian cricketer David Warner is the new hero of the ‘Delhi Daredevils’ IPL team. With the help of his unbeaten century, Delhi Daredevils earned 40 runs victory over ‘Kolkata Knight Riders’ on yesterday. Warner gained unbeaten 107 runs from just 69 balls which includes nine fours and five sixes. Warner is the Twenty20 specialist batsman of Delhi Daredevils and he is also a player of Australian national cricket team.

David Andrew Warner was born on 27th October 1986 in Paddington, Sydney, Australia. He gained his school education from ‘Matraville Public School’ and ‘Randwick Boys High School’. “Lloyd” is his nick name. At the age of 15, he made first grade debut for the ‘Eastern Suburbs club’. He earned a contract with the Australian domestic cricket team ‘New South Wales’ in 2007. His better performance for NSW was against Tasmania in which he scored unbeaten 165 runs. It was the record highest one day score by a Blues player ever. He also gained 97 runs from just 54 balls against Tasmania. With the performance in the NSW, he was introduced into Australia’s Twenty20 squad in 2009. He is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for a national team in any format without experience in first-class cricket.He made his international debut for Australia in a Twenty20 International against South Africa and he scored 89 runs from 43 balls with 7 fours and 6 sixes on that match. His 89 runs was the second highest score on Twenty20 international debut and the equal fifth highest score ever in Twenty20 internationals. He is also gained second fastest 50 in Twenty20 International history in the match against West Indies in 2010. Warner is also a player of Delhi Daredevils IPL team. In the second season of IPL, he played in seven games and he gained 163 runs at an average of 23.28. His best performance is continued in the third season of IPL. In this IPL, he gained an unbeaten 107 runs from just 69 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders. In addition, he is now playing for English County Champions ‘Durham. Warner is best known for his left handed batting style. He also showed his talent in fielding and spin bowling.
