Famous British actress Lynn Redgrave who is famous for her role in the film “Georgy Girl” was passed away on 2nd May after seven year battle with breast cancer. She is also famous on the stage as a actress and writer. Her death is another lose to the Redgrave family, because her niece Natasha Richardson died of head injuries caused by a fall on a ski slope last year and her brother Corin Redgrave died after a short illness last month.

Lynn Rachel Redgrave was born on 8th March 1943 in a famous British acting family in Marylebone, London, England as the

youngest son of actors Sir Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson. Her sister Vanessa Redgrave is a famous actress and her brother Corin Redgrave was also a actor and political activist. Lynn Redgrave gained education from London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. She professionally started her onstage career through the London production of “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”. After that, she appeared in many plays. She started her film career in 1963 with the film “Tom Jones”. She rose into the famous through the title role in the British comedy film “Georgy Girl”. She won an Oscar nomination for best actress in a leading role and gained ‘New York Film Critics Award’ and the ‘Golden Globe Award’ for that film. Kate Elizabeth Winslet was born on 5th October, 1975 in an actors family in Reading, Berkshire, England, UK. Her father Roger Winslet and mother Sally were both actors, both her sisters Beth and Anna are actors,her grandparents Oliver and Linda Bridges founded and operated the ‘Reading Repertory’. She started her acting career at the age of eleven by playing in a television commercial for kids cereals. At that age, she is studying in high school and started to take acting lessons. Her first success was in the movie “Heavenly Creatures” in 1994. She gained ‘Empire Award’ and a ‘London Film Critics Circle Award’ for ‘British Actress of the Year’ for her performance of this film.
