Now the wedding bells are ringing for famous Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. Shilpa and her boy friend Raj Kundra will be married on 22nd November at her business partner Kiran Bawa’s bungalow in Khandala. Shilpa Shetty is a very famous actress and a model of India.

BIOGRAPHY

Shilpa Shetty was born on 8th June 1975 in Mangalore, India as the eldest daughter of Surendra and Sunanda Shetty. She has a sister Shamita Shetty is also a Bollywood film actress. She showed her talent in many fields including a bharatanatyam dancer, captain of the volleyball team in school and also earned a black belt in karate. She started her career as a model for ‘Limca’. In 1993, she entered in the film industry with the film “Baazigar” and she earned the nomination for ‘Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award’ for her performance in this film. She gained a position in the Bollywood through the film “Main Khiladi Tu Anari”. Her other notable films are “Dhadkan”, “Rishtey”, “Garv”, “Phir Milenge”, “Life In A… Metro”, “Apne” etc. She is the winner of the ‘Big Brother’ TV reality show in London. Her fame boosted after that. She became the ambassador of India and visited the British prime minister Tony Blair . After the success of the reality show, everything that she touched turned into gold. Her perfume also became very big hit. Later her two movies after big brother became a very big hit. Her performance in the movie ‘Phir Milenge’ was highly praised and bagged many awards. This was the movie dealing with HIV patients and their life. Every activity done by her have been watched by media and made into a front page news. Shilpa and her business partner Raj Kundra are the partners of Indian Premier League franchise cricket team Rajasthan Royals. In addition to the acting and modeling, she involved in many other commercial and non-profit organizations. She faced many controversies including suspected mafia links, an international racism in ‘Big Brother’ TV reality show by her fellow contestants Jade Goody, Jo O’Meara and Danielle Lloyd.

PATI PATNI AUR WOH

NDTV’s famous reality show ‘Pati patni aur woh’ after the success of the controversial show ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’ got the approval from Delhi High Court. The National Commission for protection of child rights filed a petition to stop the telecast of this reality show. The show can runs smoothly hereafter.  It is another unique show from NDTV. This show is produced by BBC and is  a desi version of the international show Baby borrowers. Meanwhile, the central government issued a show-cause notice to NDTV Imagine for airing the reality show after the commission complained about the use of babies on the show. It is about parenting - from leaving the life of an eight-month a pregnant women to taking care of an infant, a toddler, and a teenager for four days each.  This show allows the couples to go through the challenging, frustrating but rewarding experience of parenthood from infancy to adolescence. The couples will spend an entire month in a closed environment, watched by cameras 24X7, which will capture their journey as they embark on a new life of discovery as first time parents. The Indian version of this show really aired on 2007. The Show Started on NDTV Imagine from 28th September, 2009. This show gives a challenging effort to the couples.

ABOUT THE SHOW

‘Pati Patni aur woh’ became a famous reality show now. This show features 5 celebrity couples occupied to 5 individual houses. They asked to take the biggest responsibility in life, that is to take care of their babies. They will be completely their own , with no servants, no nannies and absolutely no help. Their movements captured by the cameras. They start off attempting to look after a baby for three days, before moving onto toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers and finally an elderly person. Each of the 5 couples will set up a home and experience parenting beginning with a baby. Some couples may have an only child while some may have the responsibility of taking care of twins. There are no eliminations or prizes. The couples participating in this will be given babies of the parents who offered to participate in this show. They would introduce the babies to the 5 couples. They give advice to them about the routine and habits of the babies and other instructions such as likes and dislikes, how to respond on certain situations etc. The parents will watch the 5 couples. They can  interfere with it, they feel they are needed. A professional help will be also available with parents to look after the child. But when the age is turned to the teenagers, there will be no more parent or nanny monitoring. The children taking part in the show are real life infants, toddlers, pre-teens and teenagers. Approximately, 5 episodes of this show are over. Now the couples are a great effort to dealing with rounds of constant crying, nappy changing, and feeding. The couples are given a limited money to buy some necessary goods.

2.Juhi & Sachin: Newly married couple. They share a great chemistry. They look forward for this show because they like to face challenges. In addition, they believe that it is a great experience to undergo such training.
3.Debina & Gurmeet: They were leading actors from NDTV imagine. People worshiped them and they still do it.They are also looking forward to facing the challenges together.
4.Mauni & Gaurav :They met on the sets of Zara Nach ke Dikhaa. Both like kids very much and who behave like kids.
5.Shilpa & Apurva: They think that Parenthood is one of the most beautiful things that can happen to any couple. They are going to face parenthood sooner or later. Hence they both are super excited and raring to go.
