Devki Nandan Tripathi(Rahul Aggarwal) is a villager from Uttar Pradesh comes to Mumbai in search of work. Devki Nandan, his wife Narayani(Narayani Shastri) his father and his mother are begins to live with a local goon Madan Khachak(Ravi Kissen). Devaki finds a job at a weather agency. He meets all kinds of people, some are good to him, while others ridiculed him about his naivety and simple mindedness. newly married Devaki and his wife facing lot of troubles in the city. A big misunderstanding leads Devaki and his wife to a police station. A dishonest policeman (Paresh Rawal) asks Devaki to give proof that they are husband and wife for real. How this couple escape from the lock up is the rest of the movie. Veteran actor Om Puri played the role of Devki Nandan’s father Sankhata Prasad Tripathi. He is a typical North Indian villager, who lives by tradition and swears by custom. His interactions with the police officer is really interesting. Ravi Kishan’s character who helped the stranger in the city is also wonderful. This movie shows how two different cultures can co-exist despite differences and it gives the message of brotherhood between North Indians and Marathis in a comical attitude. The Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) has taken the strong disciplinary action against their players following their recent disastrous tour of Australia. In the Australia tour, Pakistan was completely whitewashed by the Australia. It lost the Test series with 3-0 margin, ODI with 5-0 margin and also lost one T20 match. PCB banned Mohammad Yousuf and former captain, Younis Khan from playing for the national team indefinitely because of their bad influence on the team. Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan were banned for one year and Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal have been given final warnings on disciplinary grounds and they paid fine too. Mohammad Yousuf is the right handed batsman of Pakistan and he is the holder of world record of the most Test runs in a single calendar year.

The piller of the Pakistan cricket team, Mohammad Yousuf was born on 27th August 1974 in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. He hails from poor family background. Earlier, he is a Chirtian and he converted into Islam in 2005. He formerly known as Yousuf Youhana and he changed his name to Mohammad Yousuf. His cricket career started in 1998 in a test match against South Africa and he played his first ODI against Zimbabwe on the same year. Within a short time, he raised as a stylish world-class batsman and he is particularly strong in driving through the covers and flicking off his legs. His ability to play under pressure, give many victories to Pakistan under difficult situations. His first test century was against Zimbabwe in 1999 and he scored centuries against all Test playing nations. In addition, he had four double centuries against New Zealand, England and Bangladesh. He gained four hundreds in three Tests against the West Indies in 2006 and he break the Vivian Richards’s long-standing record of most Test runs in a calendar year. Considering his performance in 2006, he was named as CNN-IBN’s Cricketer of the Year for 2006′. In 2007, he gained 944 runs at an average of 94.40 including seven centuries and two fifties. With this performance, he was selected as a ‘Wisden Cricketer of the Year’ in the 2007 edition and also gained ICC ‘Test Cricketer of the Year’ award. In ODI matches, his batting performance is also excellent. In 282 ODI matches, he scored 9624 rruns including 15 centuries and 64 half-centuries. He was excluded from ‘ICC inaugural Twenty20 World Championship’ in South Africa in 2007. Angry at the decision, Mohammad Yousuf signed for the rebel Indian Cricket League(ICL). Then he was banned by PCB on 2008 for joining ICL. Later he ended his association with the ICL and returned into the Pakistan team.

Nicklas Bendtner was born on 16th January, 1988 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He started to playing football in his homeland clubs like ‘B.93′ and ‘Kjøbenhavns Boldklub’ (KB). He scored four goals in six Danish national youth team matches. At the age of 16, he joined in the English club ‘Arsenal’ in 2004 and his first match was against Sunderland in ‘2005 League Cup match’. At last the historic ‘Women’s Reservation Bill’ passed in India’s Rajya Sabha after the voice vote. The bill which ensures 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies was scheduled to be tabled on yesterday. Many members in the paliament were opposed this bill, so it was adjourned in many times. Lalu Prasad Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Mulayam Singh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party are the main political leaders who opposed this bill. They decided to withdraw their support from the UPA government over the Women’s Reservation Bill claiming that this bill ignores the minorities and the backward classes. 27 MPs from RJP and SP have pulled out of support from the government. Opposition parties like the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Left Front were supported this bill. Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari suspended Seven Rajya Sabha MPs, who had created a uproar during the tabling of the Women’s Reservation Bill.

ABOUT WOMEN’S RESERVATION BILL

‘Women’s Reservation Bill’ is a bill which provides 33% reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. It was first introduced in Lok Sabha on September 12, 1996 by the HD Deve Gowda-led United Front government. After that, it has always fired heated debates in Parliament and outside. It’s supporters argued that the bill is requirement for active political participation of women. It would lead to gender equality in Parliament and increased political participation of women will help them to fight the abuse, discrimination, and inequality they suffer from. However, it’s opponents argued that reservation would only help women of elitist groups gain political power and it ignores the minorities and the backward classes. They also feared that many of their male leaders would not get a chance to fight elections if 33% seats are reserved for women. Many times, this bill has been introduced in the Parliament, but could not be passed because of lack of political agreement. Now this bill is passed in Rajya Sabha after the voice vote.
