The movie “Admissions Open” is a story about four people who are broken by the current educational system. Tariq Siddhiqi (Anupam Kher) is an IT professor who is basically disappointed with the orthodox education system. Devang Tripathi (Ashish Vidyarthi) is an alcoholic professor who is thrown out from Mumbai University for his abstract methodology for teaching methods. Arjun Sheghal, (Ankur Khanna) is an under achieving student who is free from the illusion of the traditional education system as he doesn’t believe in grading system and Priyanka (Arshi) who wants to become a supermodel but faces opposition from family who still thinks education is the right thing. Finally, they all posses same awareness towards  our stereotype education system, they decide to go against to it and they form an abstract pattern of education system to encourage the failure students of our society. This film is really an eye opener to our educational system. All the actors performance is excellent in this movie. Hope that this film will be hit in coming days.

Indian Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh is in trouble due to his comments on the home ministry’s stance on China. In a visit to Beijing, Jairam Ramesh criticised the Indian home ministry of being ‘overly defensive’ and ‘alarmist’ in its approach towards the entry of Chinese companies in India. He also suggested the home ministry needed to be much more relaxed in its approach to Chinese investments in India. Bharatiya Janata Party criticised him for raising issues related to national security and the Prime minister Manmohan Singh warned him against making remarks about the functioning of other ministries. Home Minister P Chidambaram also expressed unhappiness over Jairam’s remarks that his ministry was putting needless restrictions on Chinese investments.However, Jairam Ramesh apologised to Home minister for his comments, but reported that he may be quit over his minister post.

Jairam Ramesh was born on 9th April, 1954 in Chikmagalur, Karnataka as the son of Late Prof. C.K. Ramesh and Shrimati Sridevi Rameshat. He gained his school education from ‘St. Xavier’s School’and B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In addition, he also gained Master of Science in Management and public policy from Mellon University’s Heinz College. He has held many government and political posts. He served in the Planning Commission, Ministry of Industry and other economic departments of the Central government and has been entrusted with numerous special assignments such as reorganizing India’s international trade agencies, implementing India’s technology missions and analyzing energy policy. He has also served as Advisor to the Finance Minister, Advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission and Advisor to the Prime Minister. In 2004 General election, he was elected from Adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh for Rajya Sabha. Then he served as the ‘Minister of State for Commerce and Industry’ and the ‘Minister of State for Power’ in the Congress Party-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. In 2009 election, he was again elected from Andhra Pradesh to Rajya Sabha. Now, he has been the Indian Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment and Forests. He helped put together the ‘National Common Minimum Programme’ of the UPA. He is a man of diverse talents as he has authored a number of key Government reports in areas like energy, technology, capital goods, industrial policy and telecom. He is the columnist of many newspapers like ‘Business Standard’,’ Business Today’, ‘The Telegraph’, ‘Times of India’ and ‘India Today’ under the pen-name “Kautily”. Cannes film festival is one of the famous, recognized and respected international film festivals of the world. The ‘63rd Cannes film festival’ was started on 12th May, 2010 with the Hollywood film “Robin Hood” directed by Ridley Scott. In this year, 19 films are competing for  “Palme d’Or” prize. In these films, six are from French productions, five are Asian films and other films come from Britain, Mexico, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia. A Cannes film festival is one of the famous, recognized and respected international film festivals of the world. This festival was founded in 1939 as a suggestion of the French minister Jean Zay. The senior most judge of the Supreme Court, justice Sarosh Homi Kapadia is appointed as the new Chief Justice of India by Indian President Pratibha Patil on today. Sarosh Homi Kapadia is the  thirty eighth Chief Justice of India and he will take charge on today from the Present Chief justice KG Balakrishnan. His tenure as Chief Justice will end on 29th September, 2012.

Justice Sarosh Homi Kapadia was born on born 29th September, 1947 in Maharastra. He is the first Chief Justice of India born after Independence. He started his professional career as an advocate in Mumbai High Court in September 1974. After that, he was appointed as an additional judge of the Bombay High Court in 1991 and he became permanent judge on that court in 1993. On August 2003, he was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court and on December of that year, he was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court. In his tenure, he announced several landmark judgments under the constitutional law and the taxation, regulatory and commercial laws. Justice Kapadia is known for maintaining strict judicial discipline and he has deep knowledge in tax laws which earned him accolades from the Bench and the Bar. Now, he is appointed as the new Chief Justice of India by Indian President Pratibha Patil. In India, justice delayed is justice denied. So Indians are wishing that the justice to be delivered fast because many files are on pending mode and it takes long periods to get justice. Thus it would be the main challenge of the new Chief Justice to reduce the mounting pendency of the cases not only in the top court , but in High Courts and trial courts. Conservative Party is returned into power in United Kingdom after the 13 years of Labour Party rule. The youthful leader of conservative party, David Cameron was appointed as the new Prime Minister of UK on Tuesday after the resignation of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. David Cameron was born on 9th October 1966 in a wealthy family in London, UK as the son of stockbroker Ian Donald Cameron and  Mary Fleur Mount. He is a direct descendant of King William IV and his mistress Dorothea Jordan. He was educated at Eton and Brasenose College, Oxford and he gained graduation in Politics, Philosophy and Economics with a first class from Oxford University. After the graduation, he worked for the Conservative Party in their research department from 1988 to 1992 and he became a Special Advisor in the Treasury and at the Home Office. The story of the movie “Bumm Bumm Bole” revolves around Khogiram (Atul), his wife (Rituparna) and their children Pinu (Darsheel) and Rimzim (Zia). They lived in a terror-affected region. The couple worked in a tea plantation, so they had hand-to-mouth income. With this small income, they can hardly manage to arrange for their basic needs. However,  Khogiram sends his children to a respectable school because it is his ambition to educate them. But their financial crisis makes it difficult for them to match the standards of the school. They don’t have enough money to buy school uniform and shoes and things become worse when Pinu loses Rimzim’s only pair of shoes in a vegetable shop. Rimzim can’t go to school without her shoes and the brother-sister work out a scheme where both of them can share the same shoes. Pinu, however, always gets into trouble at school while waiting for Rimzim to give him the shoes. Then Pinu comes to know about an inter-school marathon where one of the prizes is a pair of shoes and he plans to participate in it and win the shoes for his sister. This film also deals the terrorism and politics as a backdrop.All the actors done very good job for this movie. Darsheel Safary’s role is amazing, He appeared in the role of Pinu, a good boy who loves his sister and cares a lot for his family and has complete faith on God. Hope that he will again win the hearts of the people through this movie.
